This guest is in the top 10% of residential builders in Shasta County – providing jobs for 50 employees. He learned early in life a treasured lesson which set forth stepping stones of his life to come.
After beating a goose to death with a bat as a young boy, his father impressed upon him that there are consequences to doing wrong with a memorable whipping. He learned life lesson number one: respect! “There are consequences for doing wrong, he said. What I did was wrong and I cannot bring the goose back!”
A country boy at heart, born in rural New Mexico, living and learning life’s loves with horses, dogs and other family animals…until suddenly, a drastic family event, his mother course of life changes – his mother’s demise by her own volition. Life lesson number two: life is more valuable than anything.
With the breakup of remaining family, three brothers, three sisters and his father, all going to live with relatives and family friends, a final life directional learning from his Uncle Al: “Good, better, best. Never let them rest until the good is better and the better is best.”
